Dr Vikki Entwistle -Reader, Social Dimensions of Health Institute, University of Dundee

Vikki started work with the Alliance in September 2005. She was previously Programme Director for research relating to Delivery of Care at the Health Services Research Unit, University of Aberdeen.

Research interests

Vikki's research has focused mainly on (1) service users' experiences of and contributions to decision-making about their own health care and (2) self-care in the context of professionally delivered health care. She is particularly interested in conceptual and ethical issues relating to self-care in these domains.
