I joined the Alliance in November 2005, and I am based in the Faculty of Health and Social Care at The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. Previously, I held posts in the Department of Mental Health and the Health Services Research Unit at the University of Aberdeen, running research programmes in mental health. My primary interests continue to be around mental health topics, with a particular focus on how health professionals can work most effectively with people to support self care.'
